I de-badged and have shadows, what now?

    I bet my red truck would give it a run for the money. The top of the front bumper and to a lesser extent, the hood is distinctly more orange than the sides. It has faded pretty good in 9 years. I cannot imagine what it would look like if I removed the badges.

    Use this and a small buffer. This is the best compound I have ever used. It is not aggressive at all. I buffed my wife's black Tahoe with it and it came out beautiful. I also used it on my Tacoma after I removed the emblems on my doors.

    i used to work at a sign company and when i would remove badges (and during my debadge) i always use rubbing compound. just put some on a microfiber towel and do small circles until you see no more shadows.
