Well. I got sick of waiting for the other dealer to get the truck in so I walked into a dealer 70 miles away with the truck I wanted on the lot. Got them to overallow on the trade (KBB is about $27K I got $29K), which had me at $6K of positive equity. Pick up the truck on Monday, soon to be proud owner of a 2021 SR Access Cab with the SX package.

First up, get the MESO interior blackout stuff with the LED interior lights (and that A/C drain fix). Chrome has to go! Second, either an UnderCover Ultra Flex or a BAKFlip MX4, not sure which yet. Then the CaliLED cube fog light adapter with a secondary fuse box for all future accessories. Fourth, LED headlights and tail lights. From there? Honestly probably going to leave the rest of it stock for a while. Replace the All Seasons with 265/75r16 KO2s once the Firestone Destinations wear out a bit. Going to use it to go camping on some service roads that a Subaru Outback could handle if driven carefully, and for tossing hunting and fishing stuff. Yes, I do definitely have a spreadsheet of all the aftermarket stuff I want. Roof rack, light bars, ditch lights, bumpers, lift, etc etc yet I keep thinking about how much I liked the truck stock and think I’ll keep it that way for a while.

If anybody knows a way to raise the whole seat up a bit on the SR that would be awesome knowledge. I know I can lift the front end of it up a bit, but I actually like the little forward rake. Just wish I could look over the hood like I can in my Wrangler.

Can’t figure out how to add a pic from my phone so here’s a link:

Congrats, pretty sure the SR doesn't have any chrome accents interior wise or exterior besides the Toyota logos and the 4WD selector.

It had the chrome around the dual zone climate controls, push to start button, etc. Dunno if they added that to 21 or not. Door handles are black though? Chrome in odd spots though.

It's not chrome around the climate controls, it's a gunmetal gray color and you don't have push button start, only chrome inside is the steering wheel logo and 4WD selector outer ring.

I detailed an 2017 SR5 MBM V6 2WD DCSB yesterday and the inside door handles were gun metal gray (unpainted). I asked the owner and he said it was like that when he bought it.

Here is a thread that talks about how to raise up the front or rear or both. Plus add a storage option.

Nope I mis-typed. Meant the 4WD dial. And I guess it’s gunmetal gray, but in my mind it was chrome. Guess I’ll have a lot of time behind the wheel coming up to remember what the finish was!

Hey I appreciate it, won’t say no to keeping green in my pocket (until I see a different shiny new aftermarket part). Definitely will be something I’ll have to take a closer look at during delivery. Now that I think about it I don’t think the climate had chrome, just the 4WD. May use a bit of that $30 for that kit on some silicone wedding bands for the radio knobs. Folks are right, the dials are TINY.

Definitely no chrome on the climate knobs either. The new 2020+ units knobs are actually better than prior years which had the super slippery ones.

I’m spoiled by my Wrangler’s chunky, grippy knobs. Is what it is, if that’s one of the few gripes I’m in a good spot.

Ya my mom has a 2018 fully loaded JLU Rubi, I will say the once thing nice about about FCA products, interior is hands down better than my fully loaded 2020 TRD OR, including the Alpine system.

My SR had a chrome ring around the cupholders in the center console. Somehow managed to catch the sun and blind me far more regularly than it should have.
