Not really what I would do, but if you do a lot of off roading I can see where it would come in handy....

Indeed might look good rhino lined for a consistant texture. But that probably knocked about 10k off your resale value. A POS Jeep sure, but a nice 25k+ Taco?

Well........I dont think I could devalue mine like that, but I dont keep one long enough to wear it out so I want to get as much out of them as I can. Its yours so do with it as you please. I do got to say you got a bigger set than I do.....LOL

It doesn't look good- YET. you need a few more coats of that bedliner- it's a little splotchy like it does after just one coat. Add another 2 and it'll look a lot better.

^^Really? My truck is worth MORE now that it is like this. I would not have a problem at all trying to sell my truck. It sells itself. Everyone who has seen it in person loves it. But mine is actually rhino liner and not roll on Herculiner...and it was done professionally. Had mine done 1.5 years after i bought it in 07. I've owned it outright since January.

I agree that SOME people would find a rhino lined truck more appealing. The problem is that anytime you do something like this you potentially limit the people that would be interested in purchasing it. hence my opinion of devalueing. Would you buy a used taco that was hot pink on 24"spinners. I wouldnt but someone would find it appealing but them people is in the minority of the population. JMPO

hahahah like the pink spinners:) No worries, but i obviously limited my target audience for resale when i made a 4x4 machine...i would think the rhino liner would appeal to a large majority of that target audience. but this is a dfferent situation, he used Herc and did a partial.

It looks like something you would do to a 25 year old POS as a joke. I once saw an old Datsun that has been covered with green AstroTurf. It was a POS before the turf was added. What difference would it make. Now this Tacoma on the other hand was beautiful before, now....??????

Funny thing about this thread is a friend of mine and me got drunk one night and decided to splatter paint the inside the bed of my truck. We ended up splatter painting the entire truck, windows and all. we spent the next weekend sanding and repainting. we sure had fun...LOL

I like it. I plan to do it to mine. Only my truck is black so it won't be as noticable.
