i don’t get it

I’m just curious, why dose everybody want to make there Tacoma look like a Raptor? I love my Tacoma I never make look a Ford

I've seen some awesome looking Tacomas and I've seen some questionable ones. For me, I like the stock look, however I do plan on getting aftermarket wheels. If a Tacoma starts looking beyond like a Tacoma then I start to cringe.

 

This is another reason Ford is going to sell a boatload of them new Rangers. Me, I'm on my third Tacoma and don't think it's a bad thing. Competition pushes innovation.

i agree but people have their own preference on what they like. I personally think less is more but people have their own vision and if that makes them happy then do what you want

Just wait a few years. Once the Ranger Raptor comes out, you will likely see the Offroad and Pro models take on some of the Raptor styling cues - and vice versa. Marketing at its best.

 

Its all about the "Raptor" lights. What gets me is how the lights are such a fad. The lights are a government regulation on certain size vehicles. All of a sudden they are now Raptor lights and everybody has to have them. I dont get it either.

I have a hi-point carbine that i'm modding to look like an MDR bullpup. I'm not doing it because an MDR costs 9 times as much as a HP, but because it's a fun range toy and that's all it ever will be.

The raptor face on a taco though? I don't get it either. If I wanted something that looks like a raptor, id have bought a raptor. But you know the saying, opinions and bumholes, everyone has one. If it puts a smile on your mug, go for it.

 

For the same reason Toyota likes making blue trucks.

 

Is this in regards to the lights some folks put in their grills?

You dont see raptor guys adding tacoma style grills that's for sure. Haven't you seen the commercial. Ford dont raise the bar. They are the bar. Lol.

 

I don't have the lights, but I also don't mind them.
