    One thing is confusing...it seems it siezed to the shifter, but why was the main ball part cut in half? Those threads didn't look bad so why did it have to be cut off? Doesn't make sense. Both the core was siezed to the ball and the core siezed to the shifter rod?

    Wait....OP had a third party coat the shift knob, then installed it, over tightened it, while never checking to make sure the threads were free of any cleaning medium, or properly lubed......and.....its the sellers fault??

    OP, if this is true, and you push for a refund, you are a disgusting individual. Personal accountability. You are responsible for your own actions. Not someone else.
