    I can simply see both sides. There is always two sides to a story. You pretty much got to the bottom. Seller said he would give a refund but was waiting on OP's attitude. Now there is no refund because of OP's attitude. The back story and what was done and not done does not matter, its all based on seller and OP feelings at this point and the bandwagon feels the need to pile on

    Word. Pretty nuch any mod should be considered "at your own risk" regardless of whether the part was defective to begin with or not.

    Maybe the part was fine and OP cross threaded it. Maybe the seller or cerakoter fucked it up. Either way, any mod is performed at your own risk.
