You wouldn't. 98% of the people who know about custom shifter knobs and cerakote would. Without instructions. The guys who have tap and dies on top of their workbench. Hell, 99%.

so far I've bought 2 mods that were labeled for 2nd & 3rd gen. but no. they were for 2nd gen. instructions and fitment for 3rd gen was wrong, so in effect there were either no instructions or misleading ones however you look at it. i guess some around here would immediately blame the makers? i guess you can do that..

instead of blaming the makers, and instead of bitching and moaning, i fixed these parts to work. it's what modding is about... by definition. got em both to work perfectly, too.

They don’t prevent people from destroying their vehicle through willful ignorance.

So if you chose to install something without instructions and failed to ask if there could be any issues with said product that's a vendor's fault? Really wouldn't matter anyway because instructions would change after a modification. Don't see where instructions have a section devoted to modded products.

I ordered new shocks for my truck with resis. Toyota didn’t put a hole in the frame to bolt them to, or a mount for that matter. So now I have to order weld in resi brackets, but I don’t know where to weld them because there’s no bolt holes where they’re meant to be mounted. :annoyed:
