They actually were in the box, but fell apart when all the fluid leaked out in transit. Paper and fluid don’t mix well.. Icon never told me that either. :pout:

I hope so. I plan to put King stickers on and that would make it way easier for me.

I feel I'm pretty much on the side of the maker. As many people have mentioned, the installation instructions become irrelevant once the item gets modified, especially because the maker didn't know about this specific coating process. Also, I think the maker clearly qualified his uncertainty about whether the threads should be coated or not which should have steered OP to get a second opinion about the installation process. add in that the OP thinks the coater is the bees knees, he/she pretty much dropped the ball in doing his proper due diligence to ensure proper installation.

However, after a half-hearted review of the beginning of this thread, I have to say I am now on team OP:

Technically this is libel. Judgement for the plaintiff.

Edited to add: has enough of someone’s funds to finance play toys, but not enough brain power to be responsible for them.

Yeah, that’s the truth! It’s alright though. Everyone’s entitled their opinion and able to voice it.

The minority is the place to be! Lol I am just playing devils advocate because I can see both sides. Personally I don't get the color match and coating interior parts at all, but to each their own

OP wanted to match his interior so badly, he had the knob and shift lever made into one solid piece.

    Interesting turn.

1-OP posts a thread with screenshots and does a poor job explaining the situation
2-TW mob gets into. Memes are posted, OP gets banned briefly
3-Logical evidence is then provided and explained (what OP probably should have done)
    4-Plot twist
5-Thread calms down and now more people now believe both parties are at fault

I like how we never start at #3
