    Only reason it didn’t fly out of my hands and across the room is because I left out the anti-seize and it got stuck.

    Look at my build and you tell me if you think I know what a shim does. My point was OP didn’t know. And seller admitted it was his fault buyer/coater didn’t know what the shins were for

    Great build and all.

    Just checking. A threaded, engraved part, slugs should be able to figure that out. This is most of the reason that my homemade knob is just a plain ball since I didn't want a lock nut.

    Well the thing is if parts come with a product they are probably in there for a reason. Best to include them when the 3rd party ships or gives to buyer. If buyer doesn’t know what they are maybe they should find out in case they are needed for installation.
