I don't see a lot of 3rd gens on the road.

Judging by his need to drop his "I own a BMW" like it's actually impressive coupled with his need to lurk around the 3rd Gen Section to try and tear it down since he doesn't own one, I'd say he's a very insecure person looking for any type of validation.

Man I see tons of them here in the Bay Area. What surprised me more was how many fleet 3rd gens there are, I saw a couple Orkin trucks the other day that were 2017 models. Tons of 1st gens are fleet vehicles too, I always see Pizza Hut delivery vehicles in the '01-'04 style front end.

well I started it just because as a conversation but a few thought I was bashing the 3rd gen for some reason, who know and who cares! But it does add some good comments and some funny ones. Like I said a few posts back, it's a truck. If people can't handle all comments, then they should be driving a Prius. They're just don't belong in a truck.

See a few each day in/around the southern IN area. Mostly DCSBs, not many TRD ORs.

I can relate and i also think along the same lines as you.
I also would suspect it will all depend on how good the camshaft oil seals and the hpfp fuel pump hold up and/or how expensive they get to repair or replace.
That will also determine how well the resale value holds up.
As for me, i hope they'll be cheap to R&R 10yr from now so I can hand down my 3rd gen over to my grand children and get the all new and improved 4th gen Taco!

    Cheers!

Another from PA, I see them daily. Mostly fleet trucks/SR utility, peppered with a few TRD OR/ sport. SR5 is rarer that I would think it should be, and limited also somewhat rare.

Still haven't seen a pro yet.
