Some new stuff about stimulus and upping the amount from the White House. I think that's a small part of the late day rally. Most of it is from filling the gap from Monday's run up. All major indexes held support their so tomorrow should be green. Unless a certain few people tweet or talk to the media. lol

 

65 shares of CRSR to hold onto.

 

I closed one contract today. Then a bunch "should" expire worthless tomorrow, or called or execute - none overly worrying.

I was decently in the green today. FDP, FLIC and BAC were my 3 top gainers.

Or did you buy? If you bought just be careful they don't go in the money and you get stuck finding the $$ to cover the purchase.

 

Yeah all either covered call contracts I sold (bought back for a LOT less than I sold them for) - when I say closed - BOUGHT to CLOSE. OR The inverse with cash covered puts. Yes I always reserve the cash JIC.

 

No better feeling than a sold covered call expiring JUST out of the money...

So it looks like the big houses don't want $AMD over $83 today...every time it starts to break someone dumps a TON of shares...

 

So I closed one $AMD $80 just now...I paid $307...Sold it for $310 so that's a win Unfortunately the other contract was $500...so I'll ride that all day and close just in case there is a run up. I've capped my loss at $500

Of all the companies to make cash on PRU is near the top of my list in 2020. On 3/23 of the all dive month, I backed up the truck. I sold puts and calls from then until Friday. I sold some shares and bought such a boring stock along the road until 10/16. Yesterday my last 66 strike call contracts were assigned. I think the reason I am posting this is not to brag (I've had better shooting stars) or talk about boring covered calls. No, I was really digging the cash covered PUT contracts on a rising stock, even if moderate. Yes some cash is idling, but that is not always a bad thing, but the impact when expiring or after buying back for cheap, are very helpful for the retirement pile. And if such a stock got assigned, shares and a premium did not worry me.

 

Great Play! Money making money...I try to explain to my friends that if you aren't working contracts on your shares then you're losing money...Even if you're selling the 1 month out of the money calls for $40 you're making MORE money...Good work. I really like what I just saw looking at PRU. Great dividend.

I bet that June 8th spike almost threw everything out the window...that was my dream day...if only I had liquidated on June 8 I would be up 15K right now
