Hey dumb question since I've never had this come up. A buddy asked me if there's a way to set up a sell order that covers two parameters.

Buy stock at $50.

Sell stock if it hits $70

Sell stock if it drops to $45

Is that a do-able order?

Yeah. It's called a 3 leg stop bracket order.

The first order is to buy at $50 limit. Then you set the other 2 sell orders. Once the buy order fills it initiates a One Cancels Other order with the sell orders.

 

She could turn out to be worth getting to know. Don’t dump her before you at least see what’s she’s got

 

She looks pretty flat chested right now. Lots of other bountiful options out there. With my luck after date 5 she'd say she's Mormon.

 

She’s a cheap date though. Doesn’t care if you don’t call her every week.

 

We're not supposed to get emotional about stocks or money, but I already hate this girl and she doesn't even exist

 

I use etrades Java streaming live prices and just do market orders unless its a penny stock that requires a limit order. Seems to be working good so far.

 

I like to get a stock by setting a price LOWER than the bid and wait a bit. If you're willing to chase go grab it later, but if you're patient you can save $5-$10 and that adds up...Also with no fees you can add in very small lots in increments...
Here are a bunch of LIMIT orders from today...Of note is the add @$5.75. I set that and walked away...I WANTED more shares but said..let's see...and sure enough it dipped for like 20 min and I got more shares at a discount
