You forgot to tell them that you are never responsible for your own actions, you live vicariously through others, you make stupid snap decisions, you jump on bandwagons, nobody likes you, you were picked last in gym class, you stuff your underwear, you crave attention and you depend on everybody else for your own happiness.

If you've never driven a Toyota and then bought one, you'd get the hate. I'm three months into mine and want to trade it daily. It's reliably boring. Second most boring vehicle I've ever owned next to a crv. You hardcore toyo guys don't realize it, you're used to it. I feel like a soccer mom driving this thing.

You are right. It does get boring when the check engine light doesn't come on and you always get to your destination without something breaking. Oh, let's not forget the lack of drama from not being on a first name basis of every mechanic and service advisor at the dealership lol.
Google Neils Bohr for the definition of boring!

Late build 2016 here and not one single problem other than a battery.
I told them I wanted the tranny flash done and it made it even better.
Came from a 2nd gen and never looked back.
This truck is a blast to drive especially when it gets to the higher rpms. 2nd gen would just bog down it seemed.

You've done a great job lately voicing your complaints with the 3rd gen and the people who drive them. Do yourself and others on this forum a favor and sell it rather than continue complaining about it

I had a 2010 and recently just purchased a 2019. The 2019 is better in terms of updates in every conceivable way. However the first thing I noticed was that there is indeed less torque than my 2010 but over 4k RPM my new truck will haul the mail, "relatively speaking". So yes I agree the engine could have been better and everyone has their own opinion but I love my new 2019. Had I bought it to compete in the 24hrs. of Le Mans or the NHRA I would be very upset but I did not.

You're forgetting about the guys like me that can't even dream about affording a new vehicle at this point in life, unless I am a spoiled kid who gets their parents to buy everything.

I came from a 14 Ram 1500 and this is my first personal Toyota. Yes it does have its quirks but every vehicle dose. All I know it can be a fun truck when used as intended. It’s not a sports car/heavy duty truck mix and I have to laugh when it obvious that’s what some people think/expect from a mid sized truck.

My truck shifts normal. There is nothing wrong, I did notice that it does not hold gears like my 2012 taco, but this is a six speed transmission that was set up to save gas. Of course it will shift earlier to accomplish its purpose.

Or you're a spoiled parent that taught their kids how to work for something they want.

Bought my 04 brand new, sold it to my son in 2016, bought my 2016 brand new.

Wrench on them both and love them both, today we finally upgraded the speakers in the 04.

Monday the 16 gets new UCAs and springs.
