Well thats good to know for my next incounter....I think Toyota should buy back or fix correctly. Is that why the rear wheels dont look correct in the wheelwells

I started a complaint with Toyota. Not sure where to look for back up info. What was the dealership that you had the battle with?

If you don't get anywhere with the rep, take the truck to a body shop and get their opinion of what it would take to make everything line up right. Get it in writing. If you have to you might be able to take them to small claims. I think California allows up to 7 or 8K dollars for a small claims case.

The improper spring mount location causes a 1 to 1.25" drop on the driver's side relative to the passenger's. It is much more than the "tacoma lean". This is measured from the ground up to the bumper, top of bed, highest point of wheel well, etc. The dealer I dealt with was Tansky's Toyota in Columbus, OH. I was never permitted to meet or talk to the FSM. They didn't know when he would be in the region so they ended up keeping my truck for 5 weeks until he showed up and declared that a 2nd new frame would cure everything. I talked to a dozen different people at corporate and one of them acted like they had never heard of this before and that it was impossible that this was a wide spread issue. This was when the dealer had 3 other double cabs lined up in the shop that all were sagging on the left. At the time there was even a facebook page dedicated to the issue. I can't seem to find it now.

01 tacoma dbl cab squeak noise coming from drive shaft I think. when driving I can hear a squeak noise but when I put it in netural no noise. I greased the u joints and the noise is the same. When I pushed down on the rear bed and hear no noise. I'm guessing its the center drive shaft thing, how do I check it out?
