Were the edges of your housing bent back to get them apart?

 

Step away from the oven and pay a retrofit professional if you really want the housings black.

 

I got one opened, starting the other. This is my first BHLM, obviously. This second one shouldn't be as bad

 

Take lots of pictures. It would be nice to see how far they can be disassembled.

That's funny, I've always used Alt+248. I wonder how many combinations there are for °?

I think it's either a different country or a different operating system. I have a list of alt codes and degree is listed as ALT + 0176 with (ALT + 0248) next to it. For me, ALT + 0248 is a smaller diameter symbol than 0216 øØ

For a BHLM or just for a set of new headlights?

 

Just Alt+248. That gives me °. Alt+0248 give small diameter same as you ø. I'd never used that though, always 0216 for diameter. Don't know where I picked up 248 from but I use it all the damn time.
