I live in the middle of the orchids here in central Florida. Lots of migrant workers, but they are not the problem. White trash crack heads, will steel anything, scrap anything. Hate a thief, better have the cops catch them first...

Yeah, I live in the meth county of the state. Our town / neighborhood is great but you get out into the county and it is a completely different story. I can't wait to move out of this fucking state. 6.5yrs and I'm out.

 

Yeah, I guess she missed all the signs in my yard (including the NRA sticker on my sidelight) She even looks at the camera so I'm pretty sure she didn't give a shit.

And if she's done enough (most likely) she will go to jail if I have anything to do with it.

AT&T Whole House Automation. Camera front and back, Auto locking doors, Sensors on every window, Glass breakage sensor, Garage Door Opener, Temp Control, Light control, and a Motion Detector. $54 per month.


*EDIT* The outdoor cameras are heat / motion activated and can see in the dark. We leave the porch light on along with the lights outside the garage not to mention the Street light that sits on our lot.

Another option for people who do not want monthly costs it to buy WiFi camera's and have them send to an FTP server. I'm a security camera guy as well and I have 9 WiFi camera's that record video to my FTP server when motion is detected.

Then I have that sending up to my AWS EC2 severs in the cloud.

Foscam makes great camera's that are not very costly.

My thoughts exactly, drugs, very slow movements and processing. almost can see her brain trying to figure out what's going on. Most likely gonna try and sell for more drugs. ItS a shame but no excuse! Super pissed at people who just take others hard earned possessions.

 

+1 on Foscam, that's what I run and haven't had any problems in a year. All the video goes back to my Synology NAS which has a pretty decent GUI and iphone App for remote viewing.

 

The girl might be just gauging out the house. Steal something that's on camera, see how the owner reacts.

Remember, people who have camera's and high end security systems for their house typically have something inside worth stealing. Some people are deterred by security camera's, other know it means that there is some good shit in there. 90% of the time they just cover the face and the camera is now worthless for the most part. It helps with insurance claims.

Tweakers suck! We got ripped off to the tune of about 35k about 2 years ago. Girl was smart in that she wore surgi gloves....not so smart in that when she blew out a finger and changed gloves the old one ended up on my kitchen floor! DNA match through DOJ, busted her and she ratted on her sister so they got them both. Late 20's female latina druggies. The 3 striker got 17 years, the other I think 8 so they should be out in a few. Now I've got a huge safe, nasty alarm system etc. We're not in Kansas anymore! Used to be you could leave everything open and nothing would get touched...a lot has changed in the last 40 years...
