next time...get some boards or carpet scraps and throw them under the wheels to give your tires something to grip onto...then continue about your day

i got stuck in that shit a few weeks ago in augusta, GA. no fancy electronics or lockers could get me out, ended up getting pulled out by a 4x4 tractor with like 5 foot mud tires on it.

Good story. That was kinda funny now since all is said and done. But hey the wife is getting her garden and maybe you can get new tires.:D
Just for future referrence you can get truck chains and put on the rear wheels and they can get you out guaranteed. they are usually around $50 to $70 bucks and help in a lot of ways to get you out of situations like that. I use them in the mud here in NorCal in the Red Clay that we have here. I use them on the front and the rear.

Snow chains? NEVER thought of that! Nice!

Also, AAA will bring a winch? What you just can't be too far off the road?

If you tilled up a bunched of wet clay, it will dry to a rock hard mass, pretty much useless for a garden. It will have to be tilled again when it is dry, and will be alot harder to do. At least that is the way the red clay where I live behaves, I have learned to never work it at all unless it is at least dry enough to crumble when you squeeze a clod of it. Might work out to 2 fails.
