i fawked up my sound...

    "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly."

    the message i get trying to play some music...no sound on anything. what did i do?

    Did you try and reboot it. I had that problem before and it fixed itself after the restart.

    Have you done a windows update recently? Or any significant changes?

    rebooting got it back. i don't know what the hell i did. was fooling around in Processes and may have clicked it off...seems to be fine now :confused:
