I should have bought a OR and not the Sport... The Locker alone is worth it. When you add Crawl..

I just messed up. I know I can get anywhere I really want but it would be so nice to have that available when its needed. Also I dont think i would have needed to change the suspension so quickly. OR or PRO is the way to go.

Dont get me wrong the sport is nice but it just makes me crazy they dont have the rear locker in all TRD packages

    Anyone else have that regret?

What locker should I be looking at? ARB? Air locker, E locker? thoughts or experience would be greatly appreciated.

I have no idea on the cost of an aftermarket Locker, maybe you can trade for an OR for not much more?

It would probably be cheaper to add a locker. Impossible to know w/o having the #'s. Go w/ ARB.

I always recommend the TRD OR for these reasons

Any local gear shop can install an ARB locker, they work 1000x better than the factory locker and you gain the benefit of onboard air if done right.

I prefer the look of the sport, but I agree all models should have the option for a locker.

The Off Road and the Sport are the same cost, I honestly do not see why anyone would chose the Sport...

You did yourself a favor. ARB is better, and crawl is run by electronics that will fail you at the worst time.

Yep for the trade offs in capability and suspension you could pay for a scooped hood and painted fenders.

I think the OR was 1-2k above and I wasnt thinking when I bought and now I wish I had done more research and went OR. I dont even care about the Scoop. It gets in the way when parking or trying to see over the giant nose of the 3rd gen.. haha

ARB is an air locker, Harrop makes an aftermarket e-locker but I don't know if they're available for the 3rd gens yet.

ARB is the way to go, I believe including the cost of install you're looking at around 2 grand?

So 2 more grand plus the suspension he had to upgrade because the sport suspension is ....hard to love.

Shit could very well have bought the PRO.

Could have bought the SR5 and added to it and been way ahead with the same truck.

TRD seats don't get you home.

hard to love is being super nice... it was a turd. I think I saw a package deal for front/rear arb locker and compressor for around 2k. I think I can install the pump but running the lines to the locker. I heard they can get pinched ect.
