After washing my truck last night I couldn't stand it any longer and removed the 5 foot long front mud flaps. It now looks 100% better. My question is what is everyone using to get the etch marks out of the paint where the flaps were? I'm thinking of getting something like Meguiars Scratch-X and trying that.

try goo-gone to get the majority of it, the rest of it is there to stay. You cant see it anyway unless you are looking for it, at least on mine anyway.

Wound up keeping mine and trimming them 3". Much more practical and still provide protection. I reserve the right to remove them however.
