It really does happen all the time here. Mildew will grow quickly in the right conditions. Humidity here is 95%+ for days at a time, with the temp in mid 50's. Perfect weather for mildew to grow.

I'll bet ya a 6pack of good beer its leaking...bed rug holds the moisture rather than the plastic bed allowing it to dry or drain quick. There are lots of gaps around the tailgate and at that drastic angle its sure to be flowing water in the back and onto and under the rug.

It’s parked in this rain storm now. With a small bucket of damp rid and a big bucket. I just went and took a look to see if I could see any water. Not as much condensation anymore. What I’m seeing looks more like leaks! Not big leaks but looked like a few drips. I’m convinced I need to remove the bed rug to be able to figure this out. Wonder if the headliner is removable

Oops, you have roof rails. Sorry to tell you, but those leak like a sieve if you don't keep them tightened down. You can snap off those clips to access the bolts and tighten them up. Once it drys out a bit you'll want to remove them and let everything under dry out. Keep the DampRid going to dry it all out inside.

Sorry I missed those clips. Mine had the issue without a rack.

Edit - And be careful not to over tighten. They just need to be real firm, not torqued down hard.

I know it doesn't help, but your dealer should have caught that for you the first time...

Are you sure it's not the condensation dripping down the interior windows? It's going to keep doing that until it drys out. The drying out will start with the fog on the windows clearing, but the moisture in the headliner may still drip. That should happen regardless of current humidity outside if it's well sealed.

Edit, regardless of where it's coming from, that carpet headliner can hold a lot of water...

After last nights rain storm I went out to check on the Dehumidifier. Windows Look better than they have in months. Humidity issue solved! but I start feeling around and can feel tons of moisture under the Front window and passenger window. Water is getting in somehow.

Luckily Im off and the Mrs is at work the next 6 nights! GAME ON!

I ripped out the bedrug like @cascadetaco suggested.

Bed rug feels damp to touch nothing crazy. As soon as i start unzipping it I can tell there is a ton of water under it.IMG_4861.jpgIMG_4862.jpgIMG_4865.jpgIMG_4860.jpg

I think we have a leak!

I dried everything completely with a towel. looks like the break in the rain is over. time to play the waiting game

I left the truck parked like this .IMG_4854.jpgI checked on it a few hours later only to find this puddle. now clearly I understand that thats the direction gravity would take it since its on a slope. IMG_4877.jpg IMG_4871.jpgThis while corner was soakedIMG_4874.jpg I dried everything off and turned it around so the water should now be collecting in the tail. IMG_4878.jpg

Good luck, the way it looks it looks like your getting water from the corner. If you look at our third gens there is a massive gap there. Check how that is sealed. They might not have done it correctly.

Ive had that thought. I just want to know, why is the headliner soaked if its a gap between the canopy and bed?

You shouldn't have a ton of water by the tailgate; water will run out and drain underneath. You'll be able to still tell though if water had been running down. Who was it that recommended that idea? ;)

Hope you figure it out. Either way, I'd tell the dealer to either replace the headliner/bedrug or the whole shell, that's just ridiculous.
