I think you mean T24A…regardless, I don’t think the 2GR is really tried and true at all. The FE maybe, but the FKS sure doesn’t seem like it. The FKS only debuted 8 years ago and it’s quite different than the lineage it came from in the FE.

T24A, right. The hell is an 8AR lol? Guess my brain likes them.
You may be right but it seems like a good amount of the issues the FKS in the taco had got ironed out after 2019-2020. I have 85k of probably the hardest mileage imaginable on my truck and the motor has never skipped a beat. I know anecdotal evidence basically means fuck all, but im crazy impressed that my motor has outlived 4 aftermarket diffs..
