Is funny when toyota declared your truck lemon and people still thinking is not. I been dealing with truck since day one, is not my first 16 tacoma and this one i got now has issues. After 3 differentials and been over 43 days in shop by law. BY LAW is a LEMON. READ PLEASE BY law is a Lemon

Why not ask for a replacement or repurchased

Yeah but by those rules I could make every 3rd gen in this forum a lemon if I had the same stick in my rectum.

Fuel pump and door seal would be 1 day in dealership. The diff howl is subjective and not indicative of damage.

Then go get it man, lemonade is on the table for everyone here. Most normal people would enjoy there new truck instead of putting it in the dealership for 40 days because of something they read on a Internet forum.

Most guys wouldn't spend their time on an Internet forum telling some one that thier truck wasn't broke even though the Toyota service continued to fix the problems.

But to each is their own.

    Good day Sir

They fixed 2 problems, the rear howling is not fixable by any current intervention. How does it not make sense, all these trucks will howl eventually at 45-60 mph when feathering the throttle. Toyota just won't give you a new one til your fuel pump fails, water leaks, and you bitch enough for 2 new diffs.

I dont decided if my truck got fix. Dealer, regional representative and toyota corp decided to fix my truck, if they fix it is beacuse was broken. You dont know all the issues. People like you makes people like me dont share are experiences in this page. They will not declared a lemon truck for simple and easy issues. Get over it i will got a new truck.... if everyone in this page has the opportunity to get a replacement truck with not miles at not cost they will do it...

Sounds good man but You better hope to god your fuel pump fails so you can get a new one next time, cause your new truck will howl from the diff by 10k.

it all starts with you deeming the diff a problem. Thats the only thing I'm arguing. And you reasoned it being a problem because of misinformation on a website. Lotus you have 3500 posts in 12 months. Can't really call me a troll.

As OP said, he didn't force the dealer to replace the diff. He brought it in and the dealer determined it needed replaced. From there everything went to shit. The dealer could have told him in the beginning it was normal and no issue, but they didn't, so there must have been a reason. We don't know that reason. All we know is OP now gets a new truck, whether it's a new tacoma or he chooses to take the buyout and go a different brand thats his choice. So, let the OP decide and let Toyota handle this, it is not coming out of your pocket.
