Hi guys! I just rescently started noticing that my truck seems to struggle sum after its warmed up. Like I will drive it and get it warm, then shut it off, then if I go and start it a few min. later,(still warm) it will hesitate and stumble to start. And once the idle drop alot when I put in reverse and almost died on me.

What could this be??? Maybe TPS, or IAC valve???

Have you cleaned the throtle body and changed the plugs lately. The throtle body will make it idle shitty when warm.

I would suggest the AFR (front O2 sensor) may be going bad. Also, clean your MAF.

also you might want to check your distrubuter. I had an '89 that woud do that, changed the pulgs, rotor cap, plug wires brought it to toyota i dont know how many times they could never figure it ot cleaned the throtle body turned out to be the distrubuter. hope that help.

3.4L doesnt have a distrubuter. They have coil packs. They do have wire that run from the driver side to the passenger side of the motor.

Thanks guys! But I have pretty new Plugs and wires. And I just changed both o2 sensors last month. There's no CEL. And I check and clean my TB, and MAF every 6K miles or so. I however haven't checked my MAF in awhile and I know that I dont have that little rubber gasket on it anymore, bc it ripped off. I just put some rubber weather striping on it, but it doesnt do verry well. Maybe I should check that out. And I will also check vac. lines to. But it doesnt happen alot, just every now and then.

    Thanks for the reply's!

Thats weird. I would check the vacum lines like you said. When was the last time you changed the fuel filter.

I geuss I just need to give it more time and see if it gets worse or throws a CEL. But I have a feeling it might be IAC, TPS. I know those 2 things can wear over time, and go out.

But right now I just dont know what it could be....

maybe try cleaning the iac valve. you'll need to buy a new gasket for it.

Throtle body, spark plug wires, or MAF. (My guess is the MAF) Try cleaning it. It takes like 5 mins.
