Everyone is okay! We were in the store and thankfully the people that hit it didn’t run off!

How would I go about trying to get it replaced with an aftermarket bumper??

 

Get an estimate for repair, have that check issued to you. Take money purchase said bumper (steel etc) and have it installed. Most likely you’ll pay a bit out of pocket still.

On the other hand, paint those little knobs under the bumper white, it’ll look like your Tacoma has teeth!

They hit me when they were trying to park... not quite sure what they were doing lol

 

My worst fear. I try to park strategically away from the usual "idiot" zones but ultimately there is nothing you can do.

 

That is the truth... they can strike anywhere lol

 

I honestly didn't know that there was anything behind all the plastic.
