    That’s cool. Always nice to see a little personal touch from a company that makes you smile.

    Also interesting because I know these to be Smarties;
    [IMG]
    And those are Rockets;

    Don’t think Smarties are in the US though?

    I believe they make an xl version too. With that being said I also believe there was slight adjustments to be made

    if you mean each width is different than you could of gotten a bad batch so I’d let them explain/make right, imo the hardware provided is better than rekgen (do they still include a hose as your spacer?)

    Dude my rekgens suck i should have returned them. They have a spacer behind one of the bolts up front and the bolt head sticks out so much

    Lol. Theyre still doing the smarties? I got some RokBlokz flaps many years ago for a different vehicle and I distinctly remember the smarties too. I thought it was a bit odd tbh but still a nice touch.

    Oh and btw in your first pic your address is showing... Not sure if you care but might want to blur it out for privacy concerns and all. Just never know these days.

    Surprised that you did not like them. I have seen reviews in the past with lots of praise for them.

    I have XLs on my Tacoma and the regulars on my wife's 4Runner. Super happy with both.

    I was also super confused why they came with Rockets and why those Rockets were called Smarties.

    No i never measured them. I’d say i’ll measure them and let you know but I know i’ll forget. I ended up taking the fronts off because my tire was rubbing on the bolt head and am only running the rekgens in the rear

    I had bought some tuffskins and never even installed them as they were way stiffer than I thought they would be. Thought about rock blocks but I think this thread just saved me. Wow. That’s never happened before. Something I don’t want to buy.

    I just installed my Rekgens today and ran into the same problematic inside-bolt rubbing on the fronts at full lock, and I did shorten the spacer (well, to be precise I used spare spacers from a TV mounting kit since they were already the perfect length, but same concept). I was actually surprised at how well it came out. I'll follow up with a pic tomorrow, but that area of the flap around the inside bolt got pulled down into the recessed area more neatly than I expected it to, and without meaningful distortion of the overall flap's shape. I'm satisfied with it and now it doesn't rub with my 265/75/r16's on zero offset 16x8 wheels.

    I ended up cutting 1/4th of the spacer on front and bolted in. No rub at stock height on 265/70/17s. Cut it down and it’ll work
