so i went with a flowmaster and the place where i had it installed didnt tell me what series it was, and im an idiot and i forgot to ask(to excited lol) is there a way i can find out like on the exhaust or something.
also i love the way it sounds but at times i dont hear it at all, does anyonne else have this issue or whats up. does it need to heat up, actually usually on hot days its kinda quiet.
    so let me know guys

Chech the reciept. It might have it listed on there. Or call the shop that did the work. :)

It will get louder over time as it breaks in. You might look to see if the model# is stamped on there or something but other than that, I don't know. Just call the shop and ask.

At first, yes, it is. When you say "get quiet" though I'm not quite sure what you mean. I'll put it this way: I have a Magnaflow muffler and it is louder now than when I first got it. There's some minimal drone at highway speeds that I can't hear with the windows up but it's fairly quiet when cruising. I've had Flowmasters on other vehicles in the past and they were the same way.

^Yes, that's what most folks would want: mostly quiet until you get on it. But like I said, it will get somewhat louder over time. I'm sure you'll like it.

    Just enough, and never enough
^ do you have a I4 or V6? generally if you don't specify the exact type of muffler you wanted they will usually give you a 50 series which is pretty quiet to start out.
