Which springs did you go with?

stock coils on the TRD OR are 700#. Shock makes stiffness not springs lol

I run 700# Eibach springs with ADS shocks and they are awesome with just 135lbs winch/bumper combo. Progressive compression with Digressive rebound

I meant for ride height, not quality.

    And yes, stiff springs change ride quality. Throw on a pair of 700lb springs 0 preload, then 600lb springs 0 preload. Let me know how different it feels (;

Have had so many different spring + shock combos. Sure, valving plays a role but there's a huge difference between 600/700lb springs.

Edit: I should note (so you now know) that adding preload to a spring (Eibach or King, etc) will not affect ride quality

100#’s of spring weight difference, sure.

Why is the stock 3rd gen TRD OR 700# springs???

Because the 3rd gen front end stock weighs 300lbs more than a 2nd gen

I followed the method I found here about dropping the LCA with a jack after removing the top shock bolt. It was easy to take off but harder to put on due to a bigger OD and heavier spring.

I'm positive there's a lean. I tilt myself like a gangsta lean to tell

I'm one of them. yes. I started on the Taco over 2 years ago.

Yes that's correct. It's a little floaty vs what it was before. The springs I got were used so I think they settled already.

They are used springs so I think they settled.

I'm getting a leaf pack soon. Loaded up this won't work as is. I'm not cheap but "budget conscious"

I do need a winch for sure. can't be cool with Kings right now. budget changed quickly due to circumstances.

I got a pair of used Kings 14 inch springs. Same height as the eibachs.

Rob, or others, let me know how you end up fixing the Bro lean.
Mine is starting to get the Bro lean too.....leaf springs are flat almost going the other way now.
And I park my truck ass backwards in my driveway daily.

I wish. Major life changes this year so I've locked down err thang. I wouldn't have gone LT but nice coils.

Mine are really flat compared to my buddy's who doesn't have a any weight with AAL.

I can totally see your lean even with that angle.

New leaf packs. Have a topper and just recently replaced my flat factory leaves. Rides better too.

It doesn’t look too bad.. but like others have said you might need a new leaf pack.. I’m on the fence myself about either getting a new leaf or aal but I’m nowhere near carrying that heavy of a load you’re carrying.

Rob, I have the Dakar HD's with my second gen pro fronts, and my only advice to you would be to think long and hard before going the dakar route. I got over 3" of lift in the rear and I have a cap and a full bed off tools (i'm a contractor and use my truck for work), parts, and camping stuff in my bed at all times. Ladders and a full prinsu too.

Also, do you still have the spacers in the front?
