    Welcome/just sayin/diplomatic immunity

A clicker? Wtf. The only time your passenger side is a pain in the ass is when you have a first date. Then you will just need to explain how toyota left this feature out. Blame it on mike sweers if you need to. But that should be the only time this is an issue. If backseats are a thing you just plain chose poorly and are probably terrible at chess. Trade it in.

How much did you pay? How much do you owe?id put $0 in parts in it, throw a extra $50 a month on the payment. Then I'd drive it for 2 years and get equity in it. Then sell/trade it in on a better one. If you got a steal if a deal on it you can come out ahead in 2 yrs.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Dude never said he didn't know what he was buying or that he did not get what he wanted. Simply ask some advise on how he can improve what he has. Following the vein of the majority of the advise offered so far I guess all of you need to remove all of the aftermarket items you have installed or ever plan to add. The simple fact is that he can probably add the features he is looking for cheaper than what was removed from his sticker and will not be paying interest on it for the length of the loan. More than likely he is smarter than us all!

    Too few to list.
Lack of keyless entry can easily be solved by adding an aftermarket alarm of your choice since you already have the door lock actuators.

As for the rear seats, best bet are salvage yards. 2nd gen rear seats looks the same/configured as the 3rd gens.

Since you're interested in keyless entry and if you're near one, I'd keep an eye on BestBuy.com and check their "Deal of the Day" daily... There have been several instances that I've seen them list an aftermarket security system with keyless entry and installed for under $200... That's how i got remote start installed on my wife's old truck.

I purchased a similar model Tacoma, but I'm quite happy with it. Mine had the rear seats, but I ripped them out and installed a dog platform similar to this post:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/finally-finished-access-cab-dog-platform.468070/#post-15712174

Also, keyless entry is an easy install, even with toyota parts! Check out the TSB and part number in the following link. It cost me $109+tax from my local dealership.

When I ordered my 2015 Utility package truck the dealer has to search for a VIN that was the model with a 2.7L manual trans, when they found the color I wanted in the build schedule of the trucks slated to be delivered to Jim Barkley they then requested that SET remove the items as part of the 1,440.00 credit I got from my MSRP.

They are already installed in Mexico or Texas and are removed at port is what I was told.

    Yeah,

I guess they just make the trucks and install all the seat belts and side air bag stuff in the AC, Then if someone "orders" or a dealer "orders" a Utility Package they remove those things.

That's what makes the cruise so easy to install and the wiper switch for that matter. The trucks have the correct wiring and ECU, just need the components.

I know for a fact to the SR Double cabs with Convenience are rewired for fogs also.

Only thing I don't like is I really wanted the vinyl flooring for my 2015 AC, but there are parts where I would have holes in the floor as with my back seats being gone I don't have the holes in the carpet for the seat belts and such that are going to be there in the vinyl floor as they didn't do vinyl flooring in the 2015s.

I may decide to install it and try and work a storage shelf or something to cover the area.

Honestly I would love the flip down seats from the earlier years AC. Just don't wanna pay what I find them all for.

    Hi!
    Welcome.

For the doorlocks, you can do an easy mod with a properly bent coat hanger. You just leave it hang outside of the passenger window. Girls will love it.

For the backseats, I'd run down to the local second hand store and install a small sofa. A couple belts drilled to the back should work fine for seat belts.

    Good luck!
