    I've taken more than one of those type of guys out wheeling. Got a few good damage stories where bravado overtook common sense. These are good guys to recruit onto the trail for some laughs. 1 in 5 will become a serious wheeling buddy. The other four, if chosen properly, will provide more laughs than you can imagine.

    Thing is, you never know who they are. I took a never-ever guy wheeling once and the rig in front of me had to concede. I said, I'll pull up this 3 foot berm right here, get out of his way and let him out. Newbie said, that's not possible, no way you can make that. I did it without slipping a tire and he was sold. A SWB jeep was his next vehicle. Sorry Toy crew, my jeep is my serious wheeler, an 84 CJ7. Taco is family truckster. Cedar tree trail, Tillamook State Forest in Oregon near Portland.
