Hope everything works out for you! It really bothers my when people think they're ok to try to lie their way out of sticky situations. Being a man involves admitting your mistakes and taking responsibility for them. Sounds like the other guy is falling short. Also, another vote for getting a steel bumper with the insurance money if it's an option, that's what I did with mine. It made a crappy situation a little less crappy, even though it still royally sucked. Not how I wanted to upgrade my truck, but hey, when life gives you lemons, turn them into a Pelfreybilt bumper.

my dash camera was to high all you could see is his roof. I had it set where you can see the traffic lights. guess I need to make sure I can see the front of my truck and not the lights. the cops said it was his fault so I should be good.

Sounds more like a case of attempted insurance fraud (swoop and squat or whatever you call if locally) than an accident.

Not Texas. Can register your car without an inspection. Cannot get it inspected without insurance.

Let me fill you in on Houston Texas lol. Uninsured motorist coverage is a must here!!!! Too many people running around with no insurance or one of those 19.99 a month bare bones liability policies that won't cover a light bulb. I think the last statistic was 35 percent of drivers in Houston don't have insurance. And nobody knows how to drive here.
