I agree that the Access Cab looks more like a truck than the DC. The Regular cab looks even more like a truck than the AC, but unfortunately, it's not available here in Canada (looked at importing, but with the exchange rate the past few months, I'd be paying the same for it as I would for the AC). I'm too nice of a guy some times (really, I'm just a sucker for a pretty face), so the Regular Cab would have given me an excuse to not drive people around the city.

You should go to the doctor and get some medication of ADD. Then give it time to take effect and make your decision all over again! I have an A/C v6,TRD, etc...I really like it. Now if it I were to do it all over again I would go with a DC truck! With the world in a global crisis I could have got a DC for dirt cheap. I went yesterday to Toyota and looked at the prices and could not believe the price! Anyway, my A/C it paid for. I like not having a payment right now. Who knows? If the crisis keeps going the way it does I could end up with a new truck! I really like the Ivan Stewart model!

It's not. Look at the same trucks with the same Drive (i.e.4x2 or 4x4)

Yeah I'm not too far from you and have the 08 DC OR and love it... Sucks you got a crappy AC...

Just kidding... But feel better in knowing that I am the same way. With me, it was the Sport v the Off Road... I still to this day doubt my decision at times and I have had the truck for 15 months. At least I know I still love the Taco... Every other car before it, it was love/hate.

Aw hell . Well, it's not much difference it weight. I don't think it would make much of a difference in gas mileage.

My 97 taco was a A/C and I loved it. Now with a D/C and love that. I think as long as you got what you want and you can afford it, be happy. When its time to move on, trade it in.

Well I may get a DC down the road but now I love my access cab Just enough room for me and my girl and all the crap I put in the back seat.

This reminds my I need to clean out that crap out of the back seat.

i guess its not all bad, every time i get outa my truck or i see it out the window i love the way it looks. not saying i dont like the way a DC would look but o well, thats life. maybe a year or two down the road if im still wishing i got that DC ill trade it in and bite the bullet on the loss of money. at least i know any mods i do now will be able to transfer over if i do get a dc one day.

i would help you out if i could it was much easier to do with two people, one person pulling the plastic back so you can get the wrench in there. It is so much better without the headrest you will love it when they are out trust me. AC's look so much better then the DC's they just look odd to me for some reason.

I got the AC for the flat storage behind the seat and long bed, I also am not in the people hauling business.

Greyhound does a fine job in that area:)
