I hate trash!

Its like that out here too (well not as bad). Stupid drunk lowlife loosers go out to the desert to dump their trash.

 

You would be pissed if you saw all the trash around here. The Chinese like to eat there takeout in the car-then they open the doors and place the foam containers on the street and drive off. Happens more on weekends. They are also famous for dumping their old beds and funiture at the streetcorner when they buy new furniture, making this neighborhood truly a dump. Irving Street and Noriega Street look like the French Quarter after Mardi Gra every weekend

 

Looks like mexico needs to start handing out garbage bags with that map of, how to make it across. Unfortunately it will always be there as long as they are crossing the border. But really just think how clean that desert would be if each illegal filled a bag. Spotless in no time! lol

 

The difference is, our(Az border) trash is left by scumbags that aren't supposed to be here in the first place.

 

That it is, then in the valley you get people that will drive pass a dump or two and do some serious wheeling just to drop off an appliance in the middle of the desert, prime example is Four Peaks and Butcher Jones area.

 

You know with all the weapons Americans are allowed to have, why not mine the area?

 

It's the same everywhere.

Interestingly enough "Don't Mess With Texas" (their state litter prevention program) discovered that as much as 50% of roadside trash is actually blown out of the back of pickups. People throw their empties, food trash, construction trash into the bed, or don't properly tarp loads , hit the highway at 60mph, and it gets lifted right out.

As far as item counts go, cigarette butts make of half of all items littered.

Appliances, tires, car batteries, construction waste are dumped into the national forest around here all the time. The problem is these are the people who gets trails closed for everyone, because Joe Q Public sees tire tracks and an abandoned refrigerator, and they want all vehicles banned.

 

pisses me off as well. Especially when I am out backpacking in beautiful areas. Each trip I take a trash bag along with me and almost always come out with it full.
