This^ I mean, 31" stock tires under a 3" lift isn't too too bad, but it does get funny looking after a day or so, lol. I did it for about 4 months and I laughed every time I walked to my truck. If you're looking to reduce cost check out treadwright.com for tires, lots of members run them with no problems. I don't think I've ever read a bad review on them come to think about it. You can get a set of 33" A/T's for under $600, just an option.

I'm just doing the level lift for now. Will take a while before I can add the rear lift and UCA's. I'm sure my tires will be getting close by that time.

Yeah i think you should get started before you jump to something much more crazy lol

I was the same way with the lift , wanted a nice simple lift until i started looking at all the other lifted 3 inch trucks. Nice looking trucks but all that $$$ was put into it. Prepare yourself for a empty wallet :D minus -credit cards.

This. I had to wait a year before I got my new Dakars & Icons(plus extended brake lines, bigger bump stops and everything else that goes along with lifting your truck). It all depends on how you drive your truck really but, the full adjustability of a nice set of coilovers is a good thing to have imo. I was in your shoes before when it came to saving and as soon as I thought I knew what I wanted to purchase for my MT setup, I read another TW Thread that completely put me right back on the fence about things. Research as much as you can, ride in peoples trucks that have different set ups, and that will help you make up your mind. There is a lot of knowledge on TW and a lot of opinions and people regurgitating info they have read(but don't really know first hand). Just do your best to filter what you read.
