I have a 2" lift kit on 2010 tacoma, how can i use stock tires with it?

2010 toyota tacoma with a two inch lift in the front and back,
with 275,70R17 mud tires
but i want to know how to be able to use stock rims with 265 70R17 all terrain tires

 

Just buy the tires and have them installed

 

i tried to install them this evening and they are barely rubbing in one spot i only moved the vehicle 8 inches to see what the difference was. i'm guessing there is a little more than a few adjustments ?

 

Sorry to burst your bubble, but your question didn't make any sense. Did you go from 265/70/17 to 265/75/17?

 

I'm confused. I have a 2010 on 265/65/17 and when I had it on no lift nothing was rubbing

 

the way, the truck is sitting right now has a 2 inch lift in front and back with LT275/70R17 mud tires for winter
I would like to know how to switch to P265/70R17 all terrain in spring time.
I tried to install the P265/70R17 but support arm rubs on the side wall of the tire about the size of #1 Phillips screwdriver bit.
But yea if I just need someone to mount and readjust front end I'll just do that when time comes.

 

Smaller tires should have more clearance than bigger tires.

 

You're using different wheels for the new tires I'm guessing? If there's a ton of backspace they could rub the UCA. But factory wheels would work perfect and I've never heard of aftermarket wheels that have a less aggressive backspace than factory wheels. Unless they are signicantly wider than stock. Let me guess. 9" wide wheels?

 

if you use stock rims you need to run spacers... Atleast I think, That was the only option for me with a 3inch lift. So i just got new wheels instead lol

 

265/70r17s should not rub mounted on factory wheels. Regardless of lift. They’re the same width and about an inch taller than factory spec tires.

 

My 265/70/17 KO2's rub when I am at full turn in reverse. I have Offroad shocks on mine which gave me 1"lift from stock Sport shocks and my rims are -14 offset

 

Factory sport wheels are +30 I think.

 

To finish resolve the thread, I installed stock 17 rims and tires, Then followed up at the same time got a realignment of front end to resolve any issues.
