    i have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner automatic V6 I was wondering how how often should I remove the oil pan in check for any debris or sluge every oil change or every other oil change

    I may be wrong, but I wouldn't remove the oil pan unless I had to. Just look at the oil when you do oil changes?

    Do you have a reason to believe that the oil pan needs to be dropped so often? Like did you see debris or sludge in the oil draining from the pan?

    In the 21 years of changing the oil (myself), I haven't once removed the oil pan.

    I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure that removing the oil pan from a 1st gen 3.4l might involve some clearance issues with the front diff. I see your sig says "Prerunner" and "rear-wheel", so you might not have that issue... but I would highly suggest finding some writeups or videos on the topic before jumping in.

    When changing the oil, open up the oil filter and give a visual. Or….. Order a oil analysis kit from Blackstone.
