Aux back up lights, Bed lights, Re-located trailer plug, Good dooby, a.k.a. jumper cable mod, Heated seats, back up camera,
Take your time. Lay out parts as they come off. Put nuts, bolts on the part where they came off. Take pictures, make drawings.
Looking at the big picture can be intimidating... Look at what you have to do to get to the next step instead. Breaking it down, it's easier and not so overwhelming.

I have new OEM rear shocks from a 2nd gen that I never installed (minus the bushings etc)...now I have a 3rg gen, not sure if they would fit, and really don’t care at this point.

I got a URD fuel pump at a discount from a forum member here. It's been sitting in my "To Do" box for about a year and keeps staring at me. I feel better about it now. Thanks OP!

I've got the same thing going on, but once the sliders and skid plates go on then I'll just have one medium sized Action Packer of stuff, and it's about half full. It was completely full at the start of quarantine. Just pick one thing a day and do it.

I do have to thank you though... my wife every once in a while will tease me about "all" the parts I've got lying around waiting to install. Now I've got proof that it isn't as bad as it could be.

OK, I feel better now about having all my front end parts, bushings, BJ, steering tie rod drop link ends sitting since last summer as a "before winter" project. Actually, I guess it still is.

Me & the dog will be back at the swimming hole anxiously awaiting the usps notification that my project has arrived!!!

Im embarrased for you project hoarders.
Have your wives send me a list of the stuff they are tired of stubbing their toes on and I'll be happy to help them with that

    Good woman there!
"You gonna hang around in the house again all day and bug me???
Why dont you go out to the garage and play with your truck or something!!!!"

    Lucky man!
I keep finding the ones that pop into the garage and say something like "you gonna be out here for hours again??
I swear you love that dam truck (quad, boat, etc etc etc)
    more than me!!!"

OP, Just tell her you wanted to get started getting that stuff out of the house but you just couldnt stand being away from her...
Follow it up with a big hug and kisses and pretty much guarantee an invitation to gtf out of the house lol

Also tons of how to vids to watch and writeups with pics to explore while youre learning.

    You can do it.
    Modifications must be made!!

You're gonna be that guy on Craigslist who bought everything for his project car, then wrecked or sold it, and is now trying to sell everything for 5% below retail price because you "know what you have". That being said, it's kind of human nature to collect things we don't need. Whether it's watches, model airplanes, or car parts, if it makes you happy, that's cool. Just be in touch with reality if you end up wanting or needing to sell them.
