I know, I wouldn’t have done some of the things to it anyways. And this is wife’s ride. But the fun part is it was underpriced. It started at 33k.

I started collecting parts for my Jeep rebuild several years before I retired. Spreading it out of time softened the blow. Now I'm retired and starting the job. Nice to have no time schedule to meet. Work on it when I want, or when my body will let me. If it sits a few days no big deal.

I think I could install my front and rear diffs alone without a lift in less than a day but I really want to take my time and get it right

I just took a mini vacation to get married. My wife is really cool about the truck and usually jumps in to help but I don’t think she wanted to be crawling around under it on our honeymoon

I need another mud flap group buy, I got a 4Runner to buy stuff for and store around the house. Good news is wife won’t be as mad, as the runner is hers. So let’s start with 4 mudflaps, where two will get put on and the other 2 will sit in box.

You want proof I will, or have I been kicked off the island because I failed at keeping parts stored in the house

I’ll take the knife and bring in some of the mud flap.

Wait does keeping the old broken useless one count?

    Please read the fine print

    "ON TRUCK"

Never said anything about installed on truck.

    or bolted onto truck.

The funny thing is, the 2 flaps spent months sitting in the packaging with the tools to put them on. It was winter though

Don't look at me, I've still got a Safari Snorkel, body/radiator bushing kit, upper control arms, the Viair 450C off my last Tacoma, some switches, etc. still sitting in the garage- in fairness I was out of the country for several years but I've been back for a while now.

At this point the truck is fifteen years old and I'm starting to worry about the head gaskets and how much more money I want to put into it.
