    When I was in highschool I worked at Kroger. They start playing christmas music about the first of november. I had to listen to the same 8-10 christmas songs everyday for two months straight. Ugh I hate christmas music...

    In my opinion, you decorate for Halloween on or after October 1. You decorate for Thanksgiving after Halloween. You decorate for Christmas after Thanksgiving.

    Heck, putting up the tree and lights was a family tradition for Thanksgiving night or the following weekend.
