I have been driving for 5000 miles with no air filter. Advice?

    Tell me about it. I am still freaking out a bit. Lots of little things that rational me can explain as caused by other things irrational me is freaking out about like the coolant overflow seeming a little low(it is off and cold) and some condensation out of the tailpipe when I had just started it but it was a cold and moist night.....

    Still under the powertrain warranty period for a while atleast......

    Condensation out of the tailpipe when you first start is normal....it's the hot exhaust against the cold metal.
    I even get that here in the arid desert when the morning are cool

    Yes the logical part of my brain knows that but for a little bit atleast I am definitely going to be paranoid.

    Call General Manager of dealership…….dont lose your cool, don’t ask for money, but allow them to make it right……..
    Maybe they’re part of a larger Auto Group with dealers closer to you……..(that actually happened to me)……
    Trust me, somebody at that dealership is going to be worried about LIABILITY.
