Maybe the prayer and support category would be better place to post this...

    Sold the Taco yesterday.....

    2008 Double Cab Pre-Runner SR5 with 44,XXX
    Sold for $18,000

    My reasons:
Going into the winter, 4x4 is a must here with the snow.
Family is growing (getting bigger) and need more room in the back seating area.
Pay off the taco ($7000)...just tired of payments
Get the family into something and pick up ANOTHER 4x4 Tacoma for ME:cool:

Sooooooooo here is what I picked up, paid in full, taco paid in full, and a little cash in the bank.

I am still on the fence with this thing, but whatever...let the bashing begin:cool:

    2004 NISSAN XTERRA XE/SE
    3.3L V6 FI SOHC 24V
    4 WHEEL DRIVE
    108,XXX MILES
They were asking $11,000 ...got it for $8,000
I'm the 3rd owner....but the 2nd owned it for only 8 hours... lol (carfax report)
....came with some SWEET new Goodyear Duratrac tires! should do well in the snow

will be upgrading the suspension in the very near future... then maybe some quality audio

    just took these....

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
If you take care of it, it will take care of you AND you have money in the bank. That's a good thing.

It's your money, spend it on what your needs may be at the time. However if you have nightmare's b/c you don't have a taco that's not our fault

Not meant to bash here, but are you really gaining room for the growing family with this over the Taco?

The 3.3 is a boat anchor. I used to have one. Good offroad truck, sucked on gas/everything... My 2TR has more power.

I had mine lifted, Stay away from 4x4parts.com Automotive Customizers I had their Upper control arms on my truck and they are junk. When the ball joints wore out and I called them to get the part number to give to a local garage so they could get the replacements, they wanted me to order from them. Which would have had my truck laid up for a week or so. I had to argue with them for 45 minutes to get the "Proprietary" Nissan part number.

I sold the truck to my dad. He still has it and he loves it.

If I was you, I would have just went with a DC with 4WD. But hey, it was your decision. Still a good financial and family reason
