I have found it.

I look on craigs list just as a hobby my wife would say a passion.
So during my hobby time i have found out why we are going broke in america.

A brand new 1997 bmw 745li was about 75-90k and there is a used one on craigslist for 5500

A brand new 1998 toyota camry was proably 15-25k and a used one on craigslist is selling for 4500

Both cars are over 130k miles and only one year apart. no wonder we are going broke. Everyone knows you loose money on a car when buying it new but DAMN. Look at what older bmw's,audi's, and merc's are selling for compaired to honda toyota.

 

Was there a phone number associated with those FS ads? Probably a scam

The 7 series has been notorious for losing it's value.
People who buy them have money to burn. Why buy a used one for 10 grand less when they can get brand new? 10Gs is nothing to them. So the resale value drops like a fucking piece of metal shot from a downwards facing cannon straight towards the large hadron collider.
