    Hey again!
I recently posted a thread looking for recommendations on parts and now I'm searching around for a shop that won't completely rob me blind with the installation charges since I don't know how to do them myself... I totally wish I did though, that would be bad ass. I called the shop recommended to me Total Auto Pro's and they quoted me 12 hrs at $85 an hour to install Halo Headlights, light bar by the front bumper, navigation & backup cam (to replace an old aftermarket), connect that new navi to the buttons on the steering wheel and to install a keyless entry with autostart..... does that seem about right to anyone???

ALSO here are the parts that I have... any input on them would be great too [:

This is where Google is your friend. May take more than 12 hours but if you are mechanically inclined than it can be done on your own, plus you learn! If you bought new, they should have instructions. Model # plus year of truck search on Google how to. May find information on different sites and similar models to find your answer

Lights are definitely very easy and can save you $, plus gives you confidence. If you're trying to mod stock lights then that's harder, you must take them apart and etc. Although If its A New Headlight its Fairly easy. If your not comfortable I may be willing to help although only time I'll have is about 2 weeks from this weekend

You could save some money by installing the light bar and halos yourself. It isn't outrageously difficult to do either, so I would definitely look into tackling it yourself to save some money. The remote start, the navi system, and the backup camera I would have installed by the pros. The backup camera could be debated as to whether or not you could install it, but I would personally let the shop take care of it. All in all you could probably save around $200-$300 by completing the lights yourself.

Pretty good advice already. Good luck and I hope you can attempt some of the work yourself, like they said I would try and handle the lighting on my own, but the nav and remote start is definitely okay to let them do. Like one person mentioned, doing a fairly easy task such as the lights may take some time and research on how to install but it will give you both familiarity with the truck and confidence for future mods. You can install more mods than you think you can. Before TW I didn't know how to do anything but maintenance, and with lots of help from friends at multiple meets I've added bolt on sliders, replaced the entire suspension and swapped the rear axle, again with lots of help.

This though, they should have instructions. I would be tempted to try it myself!! The interior is very easy to dismantle within minutes, and the products you listed seem to be plug and play with multiple users who installed themselves. Good luck!!

Awesome! I may have to try the lights myself first then and see what happens! Thanks for the offer @YotaGuy I'll keep that in mind if you ever have time! You guys are awesome! Thank you!

    1. Don't buy a Jenson. They are not worth it even if the price is right.
    2. Halo's require baking apart the head lights. Not hard but does take time and knowledge to do it right. If you want some tips I can help you out. Again it isn't hard it just has a steep learning curve to get it right. Once you've done it once you can do it very fast.
    3. Steering wheel controls are not that bad to install. About 1hr of labor total. I'd talk to your local audio shop.
    4. Auto start isn't fun to install so you'll pay a pretty penny to find someone to do it. Again talk to your local audio shop.

If I missed something let me know. It's been a long day.
