I wish I would have done this before buying skids.

You won't regret it. I cant tell you how many times I have scraped the bulge in my skid for the exhaust. It also gets rocks trapped in-between the dip in the exhaust and the bulge and makes the worst noise you ever heard. Think pennies shaking in a can.

I had a rock laying in there and when I put the truck into “drive” it would lean the exhaust on the rock and it felt like a broken motor mount.

I was going to go earlier to midas to have it done, but due to snow they were closed on my appointment.

Oh, and cut the exhaust after the axle on the downturn. Skids are completely painted, I need to do the front diff and transfer case fluid change before they get installed

Bumper and Fogs came in from demello on Wednesday. My 886s are installed and I spent some of the day on Tuesday sanding rust and spraying rust spots on my sliders. I had no idea how fast the salt eats though spray paint. Put in weather techs on Thursday as well, I have no idea why i waited to get some. I have my front skid on, but i need to install my transmission skid and transfer case skid. Weather has been shitty, and when its been nice been dealing with house stuff. Getting my driveway paved and graded this summer so no more do i have to deal with being unable to work on my truck in my driveway. We are looking at moving to a new home so I will have a garage, because i never noticed how bad i needed one until I lived in this house.
