    Prinsu looks great!

I'm actually debating about swapping the tent to the roof so if I do I'm going with prinsu as well

Why are you thinking about moving your tent?

Good call on rack choice also, the Baja Rack i just finished installing on my truck is the biggest/expensive piece of shit i've ever seen.

just to have the bed space back for motorcycles. bought a hitch carrier but in the grand scheme of things id rather not have to use it. plus i could bring my grom on trips (it wont fit under the rack) and still have plenty of space.

Cut out some grip tape strips to stick onto the top of the sliders to make it easier for vertically challenged passengers to get in.

Protip: don't leave the 90° angles on the ends or it will start peeling up fast. I just took some shop scissors and rounded them a bit.

If you look closely you will see that I forgot to replace the little plastic covers that go over the hinge assembly on the main console. To get the vault in I had to disassemble the lid so I could remove the hinge entirely. To get to the screws that are hidden by those little caps you can either pry them up, or lift the console and trip the tabs from below. Since I had it unbolted to accept the vault I just stuck my hand up there.

Made what I thought was going to be a minor change in dome lighting, which turned into a major change. I had ordered and installed the LED Philips bulb that was recommended by other here on the forums and it was definitely a great improvement over the factory bulb. I've been running with it happily ever since until now.

A couple months ago I got hooked up with Rob Smith in Georgia that hand makes parts for Toyota Land Cruisers and he made some cool front recovery points for the ARB bumper that is on it and I bought some of his LED products for it as well as the lighting isn't that bright as you can imagine. The interior dome and map lights that he sold me for the Land Cruiser blow me away with how clean and bright the light looked so I jumped at the chance to try his Tacoma dome light kit. The kit comes preassembled and all you have to do is flip down the dome light lens, pull out the old bulb and insert his bulb adapter and peel the cover off of the double sided tape he puts on the back, push the LED assembly up and close the lens back up.

Before you scroll straight to the mega-awesome mobile phone pictures I have one admission. The Philips LED was taken with 70% tint - effectively clear - on the windshield and 45% tint on the front side windows, and 35% on the rear side windows. The Rob Smith LED pictures were taken with 65% tint on the windshield - slight gradient - and 35% tint on all side windows front and back.

I'd be interested in seeing these cool front recovery points for the ARB bumper if you would be willing to share. Thanks! Truck is awesome by the way.
Edit: maybe I should have checked that build before asking. :)

And I just have to say this. For someone that claims that they have no idea what they are doing you sure do have a fantastic build!

Thank you, it's come a long way this year with a little more to go until I'm content for awhile. When I get home I'll take some pictures of them installed on the Land Cruiser for you.

Appreciate the kind words. I think I've had such great success due to taking my time and reading about other people's progress and learning what pitfalls to avoid. TacomaWorld has been my most valuable resource throughout this process.

I didn't take a picture of the LED side yet for some reason but I did of the back. I'll snap the cover off and get one for you.

Thanks a lot. That's been my only complaint with the ARB on my Tacoma. Hoping to get ideas.

It does in remote areas with low power signal. You won't see a significant increase in places with strong local signal.
