    :)

    1) Is the 'Limited' something new to the Tacoma? Is there a list of features that will be included, or too early?

    2) Will the limited be the highest package you can get in the 16's or will it be the pro.. if they make one.

    3) Is their any news on the 2016 tundra? This is what I have been waiting to hear about. Will it be getting a new redesign as well or stay the same?

    Thanks :)

    nothing cool
Limited has been out since 2012 or 13. Probably heated leather seats, Navigation, and chrome.

If they make a Pro it will be better than the Limited in my opinion (probably everyone's opinion).

The Tundra just got a redesign this year. I really don't know much about the Tundra, but my guess would be it'll be the same.

I'll help out the best I can.
    1) They started offering the 'Limited' after the 12' refresh I believe... maybe a couple years into it... like model year 2013 or 14. It's basically a hacked version of a limited. Fake chrome wheels, mirror covers, chrome bumpers etc. You also get fake vinyl leather seats and jbl audio system. All this on an SR5 trim, meaning you don't even get the TRD suspension... way over priced if you ask me.

As for the 3rd gen, looks like you get leather (fake leather?) seats, probably heated seats, sunroof, probs upgraded audio system, blind spot sensor system, wireless phone charger, etc. If any of these features will be available on lesser grades, we are not sure yet.

    2) Pretty sure they have not confirmed a TRD Pro for the 3rd gen. It'll be later down the line... so I would assume at least a couple years away. I'm sure it'll be on pair with the Limited trim price range.

    3) The Tundra just had a hefty refresh for model year 2014 so I would assume we are a couple years away from any major changes to the Tundra. 2018 is my guess, based off it being a couple years after the Taco has gotten refreshed.

Thank you both for the informative information. I'm so lost on which to get, either tundra or the new taco.

I'll just have to wait to test drive them both when they come out.

    Thanks again

The "Limited" in the 2nd Gen were really nothing to speak of. Just some chrome and fake leather seats. The OR was (is) a much more capable truck. I'm sure it filled a niche market but not many were sold around here.

IMO if you are contemplating a Tundra at all WAIT. I have read rumors that one option will have a cummins. Thats just my thoughts, I know others will disagree and thats okay.

I am just as lost as you are, just with a Taco vs F150. If you are considering mid vs full size here are my recommendations on what I have seen so far.

    - Taco is more driveable. You can turn easier in it, take it more places as it is more off-road capable, some can either park it in their garages.
    - Taco has much better gas mileage. I am pretty sure the Tundra has the worst gas mileage of any truck, where the new taco will likely come close to the best gas mileage (excluding diesels).
    - Taco has a lot of options for aftermarket. The new one will take a while before there is tons like there is now, but we all know it will happen eventually.
    - Tundra can tow more, haul more and has a lot more space.

What are you planning on using the truck for? If it is a daily driver and you only need it for light towing every now and then, I would get the Taco. If you are using it for work, or carrying a family around, or have huge toys (boats and trailers) I would recommend Tundra.

Me personally, I don't need to tow more than about 3,000 lbs worth of boats and jet skis, so I will probably get Taco.

Exactly. Unless it's news directly from a Toyota site to me it's just BS..

Alright easy people, I am just saying there are rumors out there that no one has the right answer too, as I said in my OP there will be people who disagree with me and that is fine. No need to hate on the people who cut your grass, they could be students who are working any job they can find in order to pay for their education and their truck and the cost of living. SO take it easy.
