All pro is weak compared to other plate bumpers... I was in an accident and had plenty of front end damage, I went with Avid Off Road tube bumper... Mainly because they are local and I saw their work on few other Taco's and really liked it...

Do you have experience with other plate bumpers in crashes? I bought the rear bumper. I have an avid off road light bar on the front of my truck if you look at the first post.

So Linex tells me that they can coat most of my plate, but some spots they can't get it into , so I will have to paint those. I'm hoping that since they will be interior spots without much direct access to the elements that the paint should stay on pretty easy and keep it protected. Did anyone else have this experience?

Id go Relentless, i like the look of there rear bumper. But if you plan on doing a front you might want them to match up product wise, IDK some people are OCD about that. Im planning on going Demello three hoop in front and Relentless Rear bumper so it doesnt really bother me, Im glad to support our vendors.

I will throw up some pictures to show what they are talking about when I actually get to see it. I think he was talking about some spots on the inside. I can only speculate at this point so I will throw some pics up when I see it. Probably get it back tomorrow or the next day.

are there any manufactures which incorporate the stock receiver hitch in their designs. i cant believe u cant box out aroung the receiver and make it work. when u look at how the stock receiver hitch is welded up, its way too stout to just cut off and abandon.

there are a few bumpers that let you use the OEM hitch, but most people dont since they want the high clearance.

I dropped my truck off at the body shop last night so it would be there when they opened. I called them up and they said if it wasn't done today it would be done tomorrow. That's great! So I called the Linex of Madison, and I'm told they haven't even started my damn bumper! I dropped it off Friday morning, and they tell me they still have two projects in front of me :( I told them my truck is out of the body shop tomorrow and I can't drive it without a damn bumper. All I got was I will call you when it's done. Now let me take a step back. I was told that it would be done today. Grrr. I want to have all of this wrapped up before I go back to work Thursday, and it gets old getting up bright and early on my days off so I can drop everyone else off so I have a car for the rest of the day
