ive heard from a few dealers in the upstate NY area that the PRO with "snorkel"s arent selling well. was actually told that they are sitting on dealer lots for 25+ days.

    Anyone else hear this too??

does anyone think it will help the resale of the 2018 PRO's?

    Just curious

I was just at my dealer (Gault Toyota in Binghamton) this past weekend, and my sales guy was complaining about how long they have had their two PRO's, both with snorkels. He said it is an optional part, but they haven't been able to get a truck delivered without them.

What would that have to do with resale value?

I live in Maine and I have never seen a PRO with a snorkel on it. Lots of SR5s and Sports.

Since the 2019s are sitting in lots and people don't want them naturally a person in the market looking for one without a snorkel would then purchase a 2018 potentially

Too many but also not enough mods
A lot of people are now holding until the refreshed 2020 model comes out.

Those silly snorkels should only be an after purchase dealer installed option

originally when i was looking at them on the Toyota website, you could only get black or white with the snorkel, and only the blue was available without(but still available as an option). This was only a few months ago

Maybe they're sitting because of the "market adjustment" prices ?

When I bought my truck there were zero pros sitting on the lots. I looked a few days ago, there's 4 pro's at my 3 dealerships, all 4 have snorkels.

Yup, 2 nearest me here in NJ have 3 TRP Pro in total and all have snorkels. I''m actually one of the people waiting for the 2020 as you can see I'm new but lurking for a while now.

Just got a call from a dealer trying to sell me the 2019 Pro by saying there are no difference between the 2020, when I told him I'm waiting for 2020.

I'm also ordering one without the snorkel.

Why would you need a Desert Air Intake in the Northeast?

I'm in Notheast Canada, have never seen a Pro around ever before. Double Cab long bed Sports dominate by far around here. Only seen 2 3rd gen short beds on the road here since the 3rd gens came out.

The dealers in CA are holding the pros at 10k markup. LOL
