    Get rid of the radio and replace with a Walmart special Boss radio and you got rid of half the buttons and reliability of the radio is on par of the truck.

    Hardee's is where you go when you are so completely out of fucks that the idea of stuffing your gob with 3000 calories of pure grease doesn't seem so bad anymore. Actually, their menu is vastly toned down from what it was 10 years ago. For a while they were running ideas like "lets take a double cheeseburger, and pile another sandwiches' worth of philly cheesesteak on top of that, and then three strips of bacon on top of that, and then drown it in barbeque sauce. No, this won't be a special order, we will feature this front and center on our regular menu."

    Hopefully the 4G Taco has Nissan Quest vibes. We deserve this level of style!!

    I thought that the Nissan Quest was cool when it first came out, but this was before AUX jacks and USB ports were the norm, and nobody makes a dash bezel for an aftermarket head unit that fits the Quest; I actually think that this is part of the reason that Honda Odysseys and Dodge Caravans from the same era enjoy a much more remarkable survival rate.

    Ummmm, pass. That looks like what some concept car back in 2000 would have.

    Well, the center gauges actually made into the Echo, the Prius, and two Scions. My cousin had a 2006 Scion XA, which I drove a few times, and the central gauge pod took some getting used to!

    It looks cheap and plasticky and the design is nothing that belongs in a truck.

    What you don’t know is the center console is detachable and becomes a portable CD-changer boombox for when you are at Soccer Practice.

    I think a Saturn may have had that weird center gauge pod too.

    You mean the Ion? That was just a Cavalier/Cobalt in a different body shell, not a real Saturn; I've had the honor of driving a true Saturn, a 2002 SL 5-speed with over 200K miles that had ICE COLD A/C and still ran great! Of course, the owner was a friend and coworker of my dad who flew fighter jets in the Navy, so you know a pilot is always going to be OCD about vehicle maintenance.

    Yeah the early Saturns were actually good cars, later they were just sharing platforms, even think they used Honda engines in a model too.

    They also had some strange hatchback for a couple years, it was imported from Sweden if memory serves me.

    @shakerhood

    People are really starting to rebel against overpriced vehicles and their newfangled technology; I regularly see rusty 20-year old Ford Econoline vans with backup cameras and touch-screen radios now. Why would you spent $40K+ on a new van when you've got one may look like shit, but runs great and is totally paid off?!?! I also see a lot of 2000-2006ish GM SUVs that are absolutely mind and have aftermarket backup cameras mounted above the license plate like my truck. I saw a 2003 Saturn Ion in a shopping center parking lot this past April. The car was near mint and had a nice stereo with the ubiquitous license plate mounted backup camera. A year or two ago, I saw a 2008-2010ish base model Dodge Avenger with one of those backup camera. The car probably would have been worth about $3,500 but it was in really good and likely paid off, so why pay $500+ a month when you put a superior stereo and a backup camera in in the vehicle you hav for less than $500?!?! I was behind a beige 2008ish Lexus ES350 the other night that clearly did not originally have a backup camera. The owner had installed one of those license plate backup camera. A Lexus ES is a great car, and new ones are not cheap, so installing a backup camera in a 15-year old luxury sedan that still has a lot of life left in it is an excellent way to rebel against dealership price gouging!

    Purse storage is supposed to be what women ask for from vehicle designers.
