Hey guys. Ever since I bought my uncle's 99 SR5, I have yet to determine how in the hell it came with a CD Player but no clock. Maybe you guys have an answer? It's just seems wild to me to have that come before a clock. I thought one was more of a luxury then the other but I guess not. And yes it's a factory CD player. It's so frustrating!! haha. I am glad i have the CD player but i really wish I had a clock too. Anyone have an explanation for this? Did he just cheap out or what? It's a 99 SR5 3.4 if that means anything :p. Thanks in adavance! Other then that, love my taco

Clocks aren't located on the CD player... they are to the left of them :anonymous:

In the 1999 model year the clock was not standard equipment. It was available as part of the optional 'Convenience Package'.

I have a '98 TRD with power windows and locks...

    ...and no clock.

I always got a chuckle out of that.

    My dad's truck is the same as yours...99/SR5/manual/factory CD/no clock/factory AC/ no cruise/manual windows & door locks

    My truck - 99/SR5/auto/factory cassette & radio/clock/factory AC/ cruise/ manual windows & door locks

Of course my clock doesn't work any more (if I hit a good bump it might come on...) and I switched out the factory radio long ago with an Alpine unit. It had to have been a package deal that Toyota offered.
